Default RE: "Doubledge" biplane?

Bad news.

The 120 Edge came out tail heavy. REAL tail heavy. I won't release this plane until it can be assembled without adding ballast with a regular weight 1.20 glow engine. Other than that it should be a really neat little plane.
Hi Tom
I would like to add my presonnal opinion. I think there is a market for small gasser 120 size planes for the 3W24, MVVS1.6, G26 RCS140 ... The problem in that size is the small wing area (usually 850 to 1000sqin) combined to heavy plane increase the wing loading. I am using an MVVS1.6 in a 24% CA Extra300L (890 sqin, 12 pounds). I have enough power to hover and fly sportsman class but the landing is a bit tricky... Like most of plane in that size, it was very tail heavy with a glow engine. I put the MVVS1.6 in the nose and installed a mk bellcrank for the elevator and it balance right on the wing tube!

I am sure it'll be a succes if you can design a light plane under 12 pounds with 1000 to 1100 sqin wing. It would be a solution for those who are looking for an cheap entry entry level gas plane.
