Might sound stange but the Global Cessna my Dad had in the early 90s from Hobby Shack was a great airplane. We repaired it a few times and it only got better. We powered it with a Magnum 65 2 stroke of the same time frame and added flaps. It did some very nice aerobatics that looked great and surprisingly enough it was fast as all get out and would slow down to a crawl for some extremely pretty nose high CEssna style landings.
The only thing I didn't care for is the fact that it was a trike - I just love Tail draggers but it was a 172 style airplane which isn't a tail dragger so it is hard to fault it for that.
