I much prefer the programmable CC controller over the GP C50. The features are worth the extra $15.00
You can save a fortune by buying second hand equipment in the forums. You can feasibly cut those numbers by 40%, by just posting a Want to Buy (WTB)
The weight will probably be about 1/2 to 3/4 higher than the IC weight with NIMH's. However with Lithiums, that wont be the case.
