I have tried to get my UCD .46 to harrier with little success. I moved the CG back, ensured elevator and aileron deflections were equal, and mixed in reflex in my ailerons. The result was a decent elevator and parachute, but no harrier. Once you try getting the nose elevated she goes berserk.

I pretty much gave up on the harrier and other stalled maneuvers with the UCD. It has a strong rudder and is good for the rolling stuff like rolling circles and harriers. It is also supposed to be a good TR ship, but I am still working on that.
