I had the same problem, intermittantly unable to start, due to a bad pulse switch (the little electronic part that faces the magnet in the crankshaft hub). If CH ignition cant be reached you might be able to get a replacement part from BME, but it would be best to talk to the fellow at CH on the phone so he can walk you through testing of your ignition system.
