Rotorflyer - I know it's obvious but check your lateral balance and engine thrust line. I had to add 3 washers behind my mount for thrust angle with my YS 91. Also try mixing some spoilerons.

Denno - I practiced alot with the sim. I use Aerofly because it has much better physics than G2. G2 is flawed in many ways especially when it comes to 3d and high alpha. Then just start practicing high and get comfortable in the "real world" and gradually get lower and lower. The problem with a foamy is that the wing design causes the plane to behave much different than a "real one". And also the smaller the plane the more difficult it is to hover because of the smaller sweet spot and less physical size to telegraph where the plane is going to move. Picture using a 40% plane to practice hovering, you could see everything at 50 ft up and easily tell where it is going to go, whereas a .40 size would have to be at 20 ft to have the same visual detail. That is why the UCD60 is great, it's big - cheap - and a great performer for the beginner and experienced 3d pilot.

P.S. Just in case you couldn't tell I love my UCD!!!
