I took a 3/4 inch thick pice of pine and mounted blind nuts to it for my g26 then mounted that to the stock firewall with the stock motor mount blind nuts. I needed the 3\4 inch space anyway. this way you dont hurt the stock firewall.

I remade it because the wood idea wasnt that good. this mount was made by me in about 2 hrs. it bolts to the stock firewall and can be removed if I want to.
