This is how is solved the problem...Take the cooking foil, cover on both sides with re-inforced tape, cover the receiver in the foil leaving the arial uncovered.

No glitches, arial-down range of 50 metres, no danger of shorting out, flys perfectly.

Thinking of patenting it and selling it on e-bay for vast amounts of money Oh OK, maybe not having given the recipe away....
