I wasn't sure about the S5! I just thought I'd mention it to maybe save someone some grief. Sorry if I sounded negative!

The S7II is suppose to be a pretty hot engine! If you can convert yours to one I think you would be really happy with it! You might be able to use the rod you've already got if the bushing's still tight in it. Is your rod knife edged? If not it might have a different weight than the S7II rod and that would hurt you on engine balance. If it is knife edged and the same part number you could convert your engine over for just over $100. S7II for $100? No brainer! Worth looking in to!

The only reason I would still have doubts is because of the description listed for the S5 and S7II. If you go to the link below and read the descriptions you'll see what I'm talking about. Then again, it could be someone just got more colorful on the S7II so they could sell more of them. Don't know, I've never even seen an S5![&o] Hope it works out for ya!
