I don't use any break in oils anymore.
and the engines run just as hard -or harder and the pistons look like new .
I run Mobil synthetic at 32-1 right from the first flip .
Why?
for best bearing lube.
I have yet to see a piston on a two stroke - where the ring glazed and never broke in-------
Seen carboned pistons - scratched pistons - burned up pistons but no pistons where the rings did not seat.
On comparative tests - the break in oils CAN produce lots of carbon (soft or hard depending on how engine is mis adjusted or over heated.)
If you have heat range correct - break in oil is fine but does carbon up gradually.
