Triton compared to Accu-Cycle Elite
I am considering buying either ElectriFly's Triton or Hobbico's Accu-Cycle Elite battery charger. Could you folks be so kind as to tell me what the difference between these two peak detection methods is.
According to each charger’s manual:
The Triton uses “ “Zero deltaV” peak detection with adjustable sensitivity for NiCd and NiMH batteries.” “For NiCd batteries, the peak sensitivity ranges from 5mV to 20mV per cell [...]. For NiMH batteries, the peak sensitivity ranges from 3mV to 15mV per cell [...].”
The Elite uses “NiCd/MH – “negative deltaV” peak detection” with “Peak Detection Sensitivity: 3-15mV per cell adjustable”.
