Default DESIGNED ON KITCHEN TABLE

IF this gig will accept the dig.foto...I want to show what a TOTALLY INEXPERIENCED in aviation person can DESIGN and build, with absolutely no training or notion of aviation and/or model aviation... this friend of mine at age 68 tried to learn RC but diverted his interest to RC Models building and designing and actually created the plane you see here. The first effort was a .40 size and when we discovered how well it flew, he actually designed and built the 1/4scale....he did not copy from anywhere and created the whole package based solely on his imagination...the only help needed was in covering and I gladly did the Monokote job for him.The T.L.A.R. principle worked well for him, in fact, we once won the MOST REALISTIC FLIGHT Award at a local Fun Fly event. The original motor used was the QUADRA35 and it presently has the QUADRA50l, which we will keep and fly again. The model is now being returned to active life. All the parameters on this plane, such as POWER, chord of wing and stab, FLAPS, and the proven flight characteristics are leading us to dedicate this plane mostly to big glider towing....( 3meters and + ) ... will report back once that is proven.

The gentleman's name is Mr. Luis SOSA and he is returning to his country of origin to retire.
[ so much for CAD, right ? ]
