Seems like everyone is using pull-pull rudder on the Epsilon. Why not use a system similar to the DEPS but use only one half? Seems to me a carbon fiber pushrod in a tube would provide a very stiff control surface. Just wondering...
I used the DEPS (name for reference only) for rudder and a single for elevator on a 40 size stick. Works VERY well, stiff and smooth. Just remember that the carbon rod needs to be supported straight as an arrow from servo horn to control horn. Also, don't wrap the teflon sleeve tight, just enough to keep it in place untill glued. All will be well at that point.
