I would first recommend you find a club and get with an instructor to learn to fly. If you can't do this, then I would recommend that you get Real Flight and learn to fly several of the planes listed and to be able to get into and out of any situation possible. Once you can do all of this and takeoff and land on the asphalt runway 10 times in a row, then I would recommend that you get a Hobbico Avistar Select or Hanger 9 Alpha. These planes are slightly aerobatic and RTF.
I hope this helps!

Hi All,
Need some advice. I have been into RC cars for a few years now, and now would like to get into RC planes. I have never flown before and am looking for a good RTF or ARF plane. It's gotta be able to take some abuse, and I'd like the electronics to be able to be carried over to a new plane. I think I would like a 4 channel system to start. I have a huge corn field in back of my house, and it can get a little windy, so I'll need something smooth and stable. Are there any suggestions?
