Team associated used a moded 12t motor with 14 cells and a 4.5:1 gear ratio and made a TC3 do 96MPh.

I only run brushless in my cars. I did pick up a brushed motor the other day and a nice controller, but it is only a 19t. I am going to put a 540 size 19t motor in my MiniT for one of my class projects.
