I think an IPS system would be overkill. Too heavy. I'm pretty sure the 24" Guillows planes need to weight less than 2.5 ounces to fly well. An IPS system, with the battery to fly it, will be well over half that.

You're going to be lucky to come in under 5 ounces using Pico gear.
