I am not sure whether the turbine is made in main land China or taiwan, but when I was there, I did see a guy from taiwan, we don't know each other, but I saw his picture on the following web site, he was the creator of that web site, and might be the number one for RCJ hobby in Taiwan: http://home.pchome.com.tw/sport/rcjets/
If you mean the guy flying the F-5 and F-18E on the pictures of the web site, it is Mr. Anton Lin, owner of Skymaster Jet models.
