Big Jake,
FMA Direct has labored long to come up with the ideal system for birds like yours. The new M5LV radio is designed to operate on one Li Po cell. The GWS IPS-RLC A gear drive is perfect with this system. I fly my Poquito that weighs about 4 Oz and it is more than adequately powered. One Kokam 340 cell and the two PS10 servos that make up the M5LV system complete the package. We look forward to a myriad of such conversions using the M5LV. M5LV is made to be plug and fly, nothing to solder, nothing to wire, and the antenna is one foot long. You stil get range well beyond where you can see the model. If you use the ful length antenna, range is well beyond line of sight for any model. You will find answers to most of your electric airplane questions and ordering info at
www.fmadirect.com The M5 recaiver can fly in any environment because it is a full dual conversion receiver with digital signal processing, yet weighs 5.6 grams.
Good luck,
Fred
