Default Intruder Canopy

Astropuppy:

I agree with you on the screws.

On my Tai-Ji 40, I positioned the canopy with screws and secured it with RC-56,on the sides and rear. Those parts are overlapped.

The leading portion of the canopy is a butt joint, and I glued it in place with 3M #0861 adhesive. This is a plastic and emblem adhesive for the automotive market, and it really does the job!

Unfortunately forward edge the canopy of the Intruder seats on the removable cowl, preventing a permanent attachment. What I need is a way to seal the canopy to cowl joint.

The only way I can see to solve the problem is to build a floor for the unsupported part. Or fly this ARF in its almost ready to fly condition.(roll the dice)

What has anyone else done? And, how successful was your solution.

Best Wishes.
