UCD w/ Thunder Tiger FS91
Flew mine for the first time last night. I'm flying it with a TT FS 91 w/ APC 13 x 8 prop and has plenty of power to fly around and bore holes but I'm almost at full throttle in a hover. Would like to change to either a OS 91 two stroke or would prefer a Saito 100.
I have a nose heavy CG mainly because I mounted my battery just aft of the trailing edge of where the wing is. I didn't think this thing would come out nose heavy like it did. I will add more weight to the tail this week.
Flying:
Wow, all other funfly airplanes I have are now history. This thing flies even better than my PRO-TWISTER. And I LOVED.......that airplane. I have never flown a more forgiving airplane since I've started flying. The only thing that I have owned that comes close to it was a Giant Stinger that I gutted and lightened the heck out of and flew w/G62.
The thing floats taking off and coming in for landings. It is the first airplane I've everflown on the first flight and felt like I've been flying it for years. Very relaxing!
My only complaint is that since I'm a builder I wish it would have been a kit. This is only the second ARF I've ever owned and couldn't pass it up. Too bad it had to be in ARF......But it is a great airplane.
