i dont like those glow starters with that spring on the outside...mine broke on me. but i have a new one without the spring and you push it on the glow plug and twist. meter works great too, one of my better investments.
THe push-twist units wear out on the end.... it's true you can re-bend them with pliers, but you can't do it forever.... I hated mine.
