U Can Do 3D
I think the tailwheel bracket is the S860 (5-12 pound size - I had to look it up on the Sullivan web site) with the stock UCD3D tailwheel. I'm surprised that you can even tell that was a Sullivan tailwheel from the picture. Good eyes! I didn't modify the bottom of the fuse at all. Just drilled the holes and hardened them with thin CA. No problems so far.
The prop is currently a 15x6 APC. I'll be switching to a 16x4w or 16x6 soon. This prop revs up a little much (10,000 rpms) Flies great though. You really have to modify the aluminum 2 1/4" spinners to fit these props. They are made for much smaller props and engines. I wish the UCD3D had been designed around a 2 1/2" or larger spinner. We have to modify the nuts and cone screw a little to make them fit the shaft. The TruTurn seems to fit a little better than the Dave Brown - they are a little bit longer so it clears the end of the shaft better.
