Checked your pics on your web page. Noticed that your UCD3D cowl had more that its share of cracks and deformaties.

I don't feel as bad now about the condition of my cowl as it is in similar shape, but, I think that better quality control is in order.

Has anyone else had problems with their cowls?

Maybe this is a issue Ann-Marie Cross should address.

jmboss,
I believe the QA issue is with the packing method. The hardware bag of goodies were stuffed into the cowl and during shipping, it appeared that the box got a little banged around, causing the cowl to get crushed against the hardware bag. I had to reinforce the inside seams of the cowl too. This is a fairly flimsy cowl, as compared to other manufacturers. But then again,... you can always get a new cowl (hopefully unblemished) for $15 from Tower Hobbies. As for my Monokote problems, it didn't surprise me too much seeing that the box got bounced around from NV (hot) to RI (cold), via IL (?). Nothing an iron and gun couldn't resolve (although, it took me 4+ hours to correct).
