Default RE: U can do 3d set up of dual elevator servos

Guys,

I do have a Y connector going to the 2 servos, when you hav 2-servos on a Y connector the endpoints are adjusted for both servos at the same time. I think the CAP9 Futaba computer radios, you maybe able to set them up like flaperons in where one aileron is in ch.1 and the other is in ch.6, and that may work then but I do not have that capability on my radio for elevators. I only have a Futaba T6XAs radio. I have been told though it would not matter, you need to get the linkage geometry correct first. The manual shows the servos mounted in the reverse direction, one with the horn facing up and the other facing down. However the RCU review shows them reversed as well, but reversed the opposite direction. I think I need to get both servo horns facing the same direction either both up or both down and with the aid of a servo reverser thrown in the mix. I just hate to but one to find out that I still need to address the geometry issue after buying a servo reverser. I read some of the other threads and read that some of the other guys re-mounted the servos to be mounted equal distance from the elevator halves this requires then some modification to the planes fuse. (NOT IN THE MANUAL) HUH!!!!

Anyway Thanks for your fast response to my questions and I look foward to hearing about what you think abouyt my set up idea.
