10lbs! Thats the heaviest UCD I've heard of. I hope the combo works out for you, but not not real optimistic. I've always heard that for good 3D you should have a Thrust to weight ratio of 2:1. Sounds like you'll be a bit short. Please let us know how it flys. Good luck.

its here and finally ready to fly, it weighs 10 lbs. uses a 17x8 prop and according to the engine owners manual it will produce 17 lbs of thrust with this prop so the 10 pound plane should still fly light. i used a lot of reinforcements in the landing gear area which added to the weight. fuel tank is over CG. and batteries are located in the tail.
