Put the fastest 80 oz. or better servos on the elevator, and ailerons, then put the highest torque servo on the rudder 90oz. or better. make the stiffest push-rods you can and put the rudder horn as low as you can to facilitate max down elevator throw.
If you do these things, the UCD will do some incredible things beyond the scope of one set up with slow lower torque servos and spongy push-rods. I use a FX 91 with stock muffler and baffle removed and a APC 15x8 along with Byrons 15% fuel, c/g 5" back from leading edge and high rate throws as much as I can get. This has been the set up that I have used in three UCD`s that I have owned and worn out, Well two that I`v worn out sold and one I`m still working on.
