Default Thank goodness for RealFlite!

Just thought I'd pass on my experience today of testimonial proof that RealFlite really CAN save your bacon -- and your plane -- at the field. I figure the $200 or so I spend on RF has saved me at least $500 worth of airplanes!

Today while flying, my plane dipped behind a stand of trees at the head of the runway and it was completely out of sight for at least 10 seconds (seemed like MUCH longer). When last seen it was going down at about a 30 degree angle. Now I'm not an experienced pilot (or I wouldn't have been in this mess to start with) and normally this would have scared the crud out of me and almost certainly resulted in a total loss of the model. But for weeks now I've been experiencing the same thing in RealFlite (G2) and have gotten fairly good at flying a plane I can't even see! Anyway, today at the field, almost instinctively, I give it power and about 3/4 up elevator (luckily I had just switched to hi-rates on the elevator) and lo and behold up it popped into the clear blue skies! I think all the folks at the field were frankly amazed -- and I got to go home with my plane all in one piece. For a change.
