One bit of advice is dont order new parts like skids and tail booms etc, I replaced the tail boom with a wooden one and its so much more stable.
also the skids i just used insullation tape very tightly to hold them on and theyve stayed strong.
and as for the battery i got rid of the battery carriage and used sticky-back velcro so i can add and remove them easier.
another thing is the carbon tail stand thing that stops the rotor hitting the ground...i removed it and moved it half way down the tail boom so that the tail rotor would'nt strike it as i noticed it did sometimes when using quick tail rotor movements.
I have the rc Twister so i think its identical to yours and they have recently re-enforced the tail rotor dramatically and i havent had to replace it but before they kept snapping.
