Did anybody start out with a 7C and fly there trainer with it? Was it easy to learn to use?

Yup.
And, with 2 of the 3 extra channels, I was able to add a camera and a bombdrop.
One of my favorite things about it is the throttle/timer mix, and the flexibilety of 3 prog. mixes for an upcomming ultra stick.
As for the ease of use: Its actually very straightforword.
The manual gives it to you step by step, every step of the way. You'll quikly get the hang of it and wont need the manual.
