Just tried with PPJoy this afternoon. As camra88 says, select Virtual Port. After that, if you want to run other flight sims like FS2002:
- Run PPJoyCom from the Start menu.
- Select the right COM.
- Choose Zhen Hua 5 byte protocol. Seems like only this protocol works properly. This is not just a setup program. You have to keep this running to have the controls effective.
- Bring up Game Controllers from Control Panel.
- Double click PPJoy Virtual joystick.
- Select Settings Tab.
- Click on Calibrate... Press Next after each step since there's no button on the Esky Tx.
- When not sure which axis Windows is asking to move thru' range, just move all sticks in all directions.
- Click on Test Tab to test different controls.
I'm using the Esky Tx to run MS Flight Simulator 2002 fine. The only trick is to reverse throttle control in FS2002. I choose tower view to control a Cessna like I'm piloting an RC plane. Pretty cool! I also play with some helis but I found the much slower response of a "full-size" heli makes it easier to control smoothly.
