hmm, it fit on mine real nice. i measured off the plans and drilled the holes in the fuse. the holes in the landing gear was at the outer edges. i already ran out fuel once and landed in the high grass and the gear held on real good.
You were able to hit both hardwood pieces? Maybe I got a different set than you did.
