yeah mine hit both hardwood pieces. mine was one of the first kits debbie called me the day they were ready to ship and sent me mine. i dint see how you could miss the hardwood when you built right on top if the plans. seems that may they short changed you in the landing gear department. maybe they bent it to short ?
