The Abbra kit weighs 1.8kilo out of the box. The Impact weighs 2.5kilo out of the box. that is 1.2lb diff! Jaroslav's Abbra shown in my earlier post with zdz40re and es cf pipe, standard jr servos and a light battery setup weighs 10.9lb. The Abbra flys and presents just like the pl prod Partner - you cannot tell the diff. I have an Impact on order now for over 2 months - I should get it any day. I plan to install zdz40re with es cf pipe. It will make a nice cheap good looking practice plane - I don't count on making weight limit. Dick Hanson scratch built me a 2m gas pattern plane at 10.5lb but it wasn't cool. people want a full composite ship. gas engines are getting lighter and more powerfull, composite planes are getting lighter and stronger, some day there will be many popular 2m gas/pattern kits to choose from. for now you better send your Impact with all equipment to Dick and pray like hell.
