Default ZDZ 80 single

Red Rover.....just finishing up one with a ZDZ 80 single in it. Cylinder fits totally in the cowl. The only thing that sticks out is the spark plug cap at the very bottom of the cowl. Depending on the muffler you choose, you might have to make a small smilie where the wrap around part of the pitts muffler touches the cowl. I'm using the Bisson muffler. Not sure about the balance yet. Gonna have to add some nose weight though.

tp777......with the GT-80, why did it need so much lead in the nose? I thought this plane was supposed to balance OK using the GT-80, supposedly Mike McConville's did with the batteries behind the wing tube.

King AIR...if you read this. How far back is the balance point that you can safely fly and land this plane? I don't mind tail heavy.....just want to be cautious on 1st flight.
