I'll make you a wager that both the Extra, Cap and the Sukhoi will be back at some point, after their "limited edition" production run is gone. Maybe they'll have new paint schemes, slight improvements, whatever, and they'll probably call that a limited edition too. Believe me, it's strictly a marketing ploy and nothing else. It's an artificial way to limit supply so demand is increased so they can sell more kits in a controlled time period. I'm guessing it worked out well with the Cap or they wouldn't be using the same marketing plan with the Sukhoi.
