RE: New Biplane arf's
I also live in Wisconsin (an hour or so north of you) and know what you mean. We seemingly always have wind on our flying days. Anyways, I own and fly a Kangke Waco biplane. It flies great and handles the wind very well. Another club member owns and flies the new great planes stearman and a large scale tiger moth and they both fly well in the wind. I would avoid the Pitts or Christen Eagle, they fly terribly. I have seen two go in up here.
