I used to use alot of expo (- on hitec) and then increased the tension on the gimball springs. Immediately I noticed that I did'nt need nearly as much expo as I did before. The guy who showed me this trick suggested putting double springs on them for even more increased tension. I guess it just allows more positive inputs or something. Try it, you might like it
