Default RE: Duratrax Axis Upgrades?

Ok, I understand that everyone will probably think that I am nuts but here is the deal. I am sure that my little opinion of the Axis does not matter, however, I got the car free, I bought a brand new .21 motor and spent about another 15 on an air cleaner. For a grand total of 150 bucks flat. Now after I broke the motor in I had a buddy of mine from the local pd come and clock me. I was running down the middle of the street doing 45. Now that has got to be pretty good for having invested 150 bux. The other end of the spectrum, been slammin' into curbs, jumpin stuff, and pretty much just beating the crap out of the machine. The only thing that I ran into problems with was I lost 1 screw. All in all I think the people that have a bad opinion of the axis probably did not have as good an experience as I have but I am 100% satsfied with the machine. The next upgrade I'm looking into is diff's front, rear, and center. And upgrading to the .26 Picco. Most people will probably say that I am insane but I feel comfortable dumping money into this buggy due to the fact that it is a friggin tank and I know I will get my money's worth. Anyway, just wanted to toss my opinion out to the masses. Pz
