Did you use ultra-thin CA when installing the hinge? I've worked the tar outta mine and had no problems...

Oh... it also helps to un-hook your control surfaces from time to time (from the servo horn, or the control horn) and -listen- to your hinges - be they CA-type or pinned hinge type. Cracking, creaking, binding = ALL BAD.
