Default RE: Crashed RX

Rebar,

I just got back a previously crashed receiver, R127DF, that I sent to Futaba (aka Hobby Services) for repair and the cost ended up being $17.38 plus $7.99 shipping. It took about 1.5 weeks from the time I shipped it out; it's 2 days shipping time from WV to IL. They replaced a couple ceramic filters, some resistors, case, antenna and the label. They also returned all of the old parts to me.

Obviously, every repair will be a little different, so the cost will vary. But that might give you a ballpark idea of the cost. You may want to check with them to verify this, but I believe if you send it in and they give you a quote to fix it that's too high for you, you may still have to pay something like $15 just for them to look at it.

Good luck,
Keith
