RE: Arresti vs. Focus 2
We were just talking about this at the field tonight. FOCUS II comes with all the hardware, pushrods, control arms, clevis links, and wheel axles.
For a data point I used all the stock hardware very successfully in the FOCUS II ARF- Even down to the phillips head screws for the cowling and control arms.
If you had to choose beteen the two (having enough resources for that choice)...I've flown both the FOCUS and Quest - both are excellent pattern planes to start with; but the FOCUS II is competitive also in upper classes, and quite good at rolling circles and one roll loops in the FAI sequences. Where you feel the advantage in the entry classes-- Rudder during point rolls and stall turns (and rudder at the top of loops and vertical lines). The FOCUS has an advantage in that regard.
