Default RE: regulator plunger

i just realized that i would not be able to contact him all this week, so on the advice of some other ys owners i simply took the regulator off and cleaned it with glow fuel, which should leave some oil there. now, my question. i am pretty certain i got it right, but wanted to check with you first. on the regulator membrane, there is a little lip, in a circular pattern which alows for the regulator membrane's center to move in and out without streaching. the raised part of the lip should be facing the regulator screw right? i seem to remember it being that way and the regulator body has a chamfer in the right place for it, but i just wanted to make sure i did not royally screw anything up.
thanks,
clam
