If that's a Brison, it was a conversion that was done for someone.

The cylinder is a Makita/Dolmar as used on a Brison, but the similarities end there. The carb block is the wrong color. the case in the front is recessed and not smoothh cast as would be with a Brison. the prop shaft appears to be wrong, and Brison is not known for installing a pressure tap in the case. The serial number in the back of the case seems to be awful high as well.

Get rid of the muffler no matter what it is. It will really set you back performance wise when you run it.

What do you think, Ralph? Possibly an A&M?
