Eclipse Glitch
I have the strangest twitch I've ever seen in my life with my Eclipse 7. With 4 servos installed in my glider wing, whenever I quickly move the ailerons from left to right, the flaps start twitching and eventually my elevator and rudder also join in to add to the fun. Finally all of my servos will freeze up in a maximum throw position. I figured it was the either the transmitter or receiver batteries and made sure both were charged. To make matters even stranger, I found out that if I used my lipo with a voltage regulator or an old Nicad pack, there was no twitching at all regardless of what I did. As soon as I used ant 4 AA NiNh's again, the problem came back. Then I figured I'd change receivers and channels. All of my receivers did the same thing regardless of the channel. I figured maybe it was my long servo wires going through the wings so I just tried different servos plugged directly into the receiver....no difference at all. So I've concluded that it must be some sort of voltage issue since the problem only happens with my NiMh's. Right now, I have the lipo in the fuselage and everything is fine. I've never had any problems with this transmitter before for 2 years with all kinds of planes so I'm totally baffled. If anyone has ever seen anything remotely similar to this or have any suggestions, please let me know.
