They are both removeable....a spec ial handle is provided to carry.

Down load the manual from www.greatplanes.com

It will give a better idea on the construction.

Reference page#17, item #4 (instead of 1-3/8 from the rear of the aileron, change it to 7/8")
this will stop the binding...hope this helps
