Sure you can switch everything over to your second plane, I did. Alpha to Sig 4 star. If I remember correctly the servos are JR 527s and have plastic gears. Be sure and check them over and be certain they are not stripped. The JR Quattro radio is a fine 4 channel radio and I used mine through six aircraft, up until the time I needed more than four channels.

I strongly recommend the SIG 4 Star as a second airplane. It is reasonably gentle, will do basic aerobatics, and will give you a gentle introduction to tail dragger aircraft, as it is not "squirrely" on takeoff.
