Default RE: Plans on CD

I am sure several of the plans would be "good".

You should realize that these are OLD STYLE plans, and for the most part are most likely overbuilt. This means you will need to go into the plan and "re-engineer" it to get it lighter without losing any strength.

The biggest problem I see is getting the print from the disk to paper. You will need a CAD reader (there are several free ones out there ) that can print the plan in sections. Plan on using MANY sheets of paper and an ink cartridge to do this.

Then the fun begins as you assemble the "jigsaw" puzzle. Once it is assembled you will most likely need to have someplace like Kinkos do a print in one piece.

Personally, I don't feel they are worth the money considering all the effort (and money ) needed to get the plans into a useable form.
