Had mine out the week before last. I hear you on the wind issue. It won't let up. My experiences with KE is sweet. Low, slow passes @ high alpha. With the help of some elevator slaved to the rudder of course. Ditto on the harrier, its a lot of work to get a half decent one. Their not pretty. As much as I want a gasser, I think I see electric in my future. They are putting E-power in some very large planes and it seems to be only the beginning. Plug and play.
