After thought...

You can install the pressure tap anywhere on the crankcase or transfer ports that is convenient. I installed mine on the back cover as the airplane I was working on already had a hole in the fuselage at this point for the line to pass through. Just make sure the crankshaft and/or piston don't pass close enough to where you install the tap to hit something in your installation.
