RE: Goldberg Cub
i built a goldberg cub full size and flew it for twelve years on and off floats the floats were the most fun i had the full size wing mine rolled and performed airabatics very
well it still rolled on floates but it took a lot or rudder and elevator to keep it leval i had a blast flying this airplane i had a fox fifty on it the engine was more than enough on wheels and really scale on floats on glassy water i had to pull it up on one float to get it off just like the real air plane my dad crashed it about eight years ago i just recently built another cub this time i built the clipped wing version and covered it in the red and white starburst scheme i havent flown it yet due to winters in alaska i plan on building the floats also i put dual servos in the wing and cut the ailorons short to look more scale i put a saito 65 on the clipped wing version i cant wait to fly it it was very fun and relaxing to fly i still have the full size wing and i might recover it to match the new colors i personally think the clipped wing looks better the full size can be hard to land if the wind is realy blowing with the full size wing all i can say is im shure youl have fun with either choice
